AI Shareholder Proposals in the Russell 3000

Using the MyLogIQ CompanyIQ research platform, we analyzed the proxy statements of Russell 3000 companies from 2022-2024 for artificial intelligence (AI)-related shareholder proposals. Among our findings are:
- 13 AI shareholders proposals were submitted in 2024.
- That’s a threefold increase from the 2023 proxy season.
- More than 50% of the 2024 AI shareholder proposals were sponsored by labor unions.
- None of the voted shareholder proposals from 2022-2024 have passed.
