Jim Moylan, the longtime Ciena finance chief, has steered his company through tumultuous economic moments, including the 2008-09 financial crisis and the pandemic. Before his planned retirement in August, he’s doing it one more time, helping the fiber-optic gear supplier navigate a trade war.
